You Are Untouchable
“He that dwelleth in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the shadow of the almighty” Psalms 91:1
The other day I was discussing with the Lord and He said one of the things my children don’t know is that when I saved them, I don’t dump them cheaply. I don’t abandon them, but I go ahead of them as they navigate through life on earth. I go ahead of them so that before they arrive, I have already cleared the way. The Bible declares in Hebrews 13:5-6 “….for He hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear what man shall do unto me”.
In Numbers 23:21, the bible says “He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them”. If you are now in Christ how can you be touched by the devil when the Lord is with you and it is in Him you live, in Him you move and have your being? He says in Zechariah 2:8 “For thus saith the LORD of hosts; After the glory hath he sent me unto the nations which spoiled you: for he that toucheth you toucheth the apple of His eye”. So you are untouchable. God will not sit down and watch the apple of His eye being plucked out. In other words, you are very precious to God and He will not just watch and allow anything to happen to you.
If your father ate sour grape, what has that to do with you? You belong to God now; you will not suffer for what your father did. I announce your deliverance and victory; the yoke is destroyed; the chain is broken. My assignment is to show you evidences from the scriptures. It says’, having spoilt principalities and powers, he made a show of them openly and triumphed over them in it. What it means is that having destroyed whatsoever have been harassing you, he led you in a victory trail, seizing and parading all the weapons they have been using against you. That means the person that had been holding you has been disgraced publicly and you are now untouchable.
Today, I challenge you to go about your assignment rejoicing in the finished work of Christ on Calvary. He did it just for you.
