Keep Your Eyes On God

“Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.” Hebrews 12:2

The devil’s assignment today is to get people to throw away their Bibles, he is contending with the truth and with the light. But we must not bow to satanic oppressions. I know that the norm is to panic and say what am I going to do, when the enemy is coming after you. Yes, you may not know what to do, but you need to follow a template. When you look at how God handled issues in other people’s lives, it will give you hope. What did Jehoshaphat do when he was overwhelmed? He decided to seek God with fasting for solution and called all the people of the land and said this is a crucial situation and we need to fast and they fasted and sought the face of the Lord. Secondly, he took God’s promises back to Him.

You may not know what to do, but like Jehoshaphat you can say I have no might, I have no power, I don’t know how to handle this situation but I am depending on Your grace. Jehoshaphat said militarily we cannot handle them, yes, by your power you cannot handle them. But rather than give up and throw in the towel, arise! This is the time for your eyes to be on God. It is the time to lift up your eyes to the hills from where your help comes. Your help comes from the Lord who made the heavens and the earth. He said He will not suffer your foot to be moved, He is the Lord that keeps you, He will not slumber nor sleep.

Whatever is challenging your marriage, your health, your destiny, by the authority of heaven I command them to shatter! Every opposition of darkness, powers of hell, demonic activities, witchcraft and demonic forces militating against you or anything or anyone that belongs to you, today I command them to come down! I command that door that was shut to open for you! The wind of adversity, of failure, delay and postponement, I command it to clear! Your challenge is terminated now, as you keep your focus on Jesus.
