YOU HAVE RECEIVED POWER
“But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name” John 1:12
Beloved the covenant that is everlasting speaks over your life. Everyday when you get up, thank God for the benefit of another day. Never lake it for granted. Beyond the gift of another day is also the empowerment of sonship that salvation confers on you. Look at the scripture above again: you have been given the power to become His son, just by accepting Jesus as your personal Lord and Saviour.
If the princes of the world had known, they would not have crucified the Lord of Glory but it was too late. He thought that once he kills Jesus, that’s the end. And so they put stripes on His back, thorns on His head, nailed Him on the hand and pieced His side, Jesus died and was buried. But they didn’t know that was redemption for man. Because the stripes on his head removed curse from your head, the piecing in his hand means that whatever you lay your hands on will succeed, His pieced side brought out water and blood, this means you have been washed by the water of the word and pieced legs signifies authority and dominion.
They buried Him and the soldiers said that they are going to make the place secured because this man said on the third day He will rise again and then Pilate said they should do it and on the third day there was an earthquake, the earthquake broke the grave and He rose up triumphant over death, hell and grave. I see an earthquake coming to destroy every yoke around your life. Now He is seated at the right hand of the Father God and while He was doing this all humanity that has been in bondage was inside Him because He was doing it for man, not for Himself. And now as many that received Him (joined to Him), to them He gave power to become sons of God and to reign with Christ in life.
Today I see situations bow and circumstances give way before you in Jesus name. Go and reign in your world. Live in the consciousness of who you are in Him.
