TAKE NO THOUGHT

Take No Thought

Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? Matthew 6:27

Why take thoughts? Why are you receiving the second thoughts and acting on it? Why are you getting worried and anxious? Jesus said consider the lilies of the field how they grow, they toil not neither do they spin, yet I say unto you even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of this. Therefore if God so clothed the grass of the field which today is and tomorrow is cast into the oven and burnt, shall He not much more clothe you, Oh you of little faith?

Jesus was saying: If I can take care of ordinary grass, therefore take no thought. You would see it repeatedly in scriptures. He keeps on telling you, take no thought saying what shall we eat, because once you take the thought, you have opened yourself to receive a second voice. The next thing is that you will start speaking what you have received. Once the second voice takes root in your heart through taking thoughts, the next thing that will happen is that youll start speaking contrary to what God said. The only way to avoid a second thought is to replace it with the word when the enemy brings you a contrary thought.

You dont have to speak what the devil is saying, rather speak what God has said. Take for instance the devil flashes a picture of sickness, rather than saying: I hope I wont fall sick, declare with boldness: By His stripes I am healed; no sickness or disease is permitted in this body. I have divine health. Can you see the difference? Many unconsciously give voice to their fears rather than giving voice to their faith. If your bank account seem low and bills are piling, rather than say: I hope I wont go borrowing to pay these bills, lay your hands on the bills and your cheque book and declare: Every need is met, every bill is paid. I am a tither; money comes to me. I have no lack for God supplies all my needs according to His riches in glory.

Unfortunately many receive the second voice and speak in agreement with the enemy. But today I challenge you to starve your doubt and feed your faith. Remember, faith comes by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Say the word of God over and over to yourself. Declare it, until you become one with it. I declare that the word of God you speak over your life will come to pass. Your expectation shall not be cut off.
