You Can Do It

He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might He increaseth strength Isaiah 40:29

One thing you need to constantly remind yourself is that you can do all things through Christ that strengthens you. Many believers fail even before the journey starts because they have looked at October and concluded that it is impossible to go on a one-month fast. It has been rightly said that whether you think you can, or you think you cannot, you are right because as a man thinks in his heart, so is he.

God never calls you to do anything that He has not equipped you for. God has perfected all that concerns you from eternity. There is no ingredient you need to stand that is not resident on the inside of you. All you need is to make up your mind and tell yourself: I can do it.

This principle is not just for fasting, it cuts across everything that concerns man. What is it that you wanted to do but the devil made so big that you believed you cannot do it? Think of it, whatever it is, if you look round you will discover that there is someone out there already doing it. The Bible is true when it declares that there is nothing new under the sun. What we call inventions are innovations of man. It is man looking at something currently in existence and asking, what value can I bring to this thing that will make it better. There is so much innovation in the heart of God that I believe that before the fast is over, you would have tapped into His heart in the area that concerns you and made a success of it.

Dont count yourself out; dont rule your case out. Rather roll up your sleeves and get ready to work. It is in the place of prayer that you can redeem the time because God will tell you what to do and how to do it and as you follow, everything will fall in place. You may think that your strength is failing you, but get ready Gods power is coming on you specially. You can do it.
