Do Your Part
But this thing commanded I them, saying, Obey my voice, and I will be your God, and ye shall be My people: and walk ye in all the ways that I have commanded you, that it may be well unto you. Jeremiah 7:23. KJV
It is the will of God that when He puts a desire or a vision in your spirit; that desire or vision should come to pass. That is always the agenda of God for His own people. He will not put a desire or a dream that He does not want to see come to pass. That is why the scriptures declare, The desires of the righteous shall be granted (Proverb 10:24). He wants to bring the desire of the righteous to pass.
The problem however is that we want God to fulfill His own part when we are not ready to play our own part. If you dont want to do your own part, why do you want God to do His own part? And the good news is that God is always faithful to do whatever He said. But how faithful are you to do your own part? This is the real issue! So, you dont really need to watch God, rather it is yourself you should watch. God is faithful! He will not fail to do His part. Deuteronomy 28:1-2 says And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God.
Gods word tells us to fear lest the promise that has been given to us, any of us should fail to fulfill or actualize it. (Hebrews 4:1). We should not fear whether God will do it or not. As for God, it is already settled. The problem lies with us. If we can just do our part, nothing will stop the fulfillment of the promise. The strategy of the devil is to wear you out to the point that you become weary and then fail to do what you are expected to do. Beloved, for the promise to be fulfilled in your life, there are things you must do. You must obey the word. You dont have a choice. It is a must. I encourage, therefore to set your face like a flint, and be determined to function in the word of God. This year will not end without your testimony for nothing will stop your manifestation. I bless you in the name of the Lord.
