Every Goliath Against You Will Fall.

And David prevailed over the philistine with a sling and with a stone and smote the philistine and slew him… 1 Samuel17:50 KJV.

The Philistines were a constant enemy to Gods people just like the devil is to us. Dont ever expect the devil to be good. The bible says The thief cometh not, but to steal and to kill and to destroy… (John 10:10). That is the job of the devil. In fact he is a specialist in doing evil. Put anything good in his hands, he will destroy it. Some people wonder; why is the devil doing this to me? What do you want him to do? He does not know any better thing to do apart from evil. In fact the more you cry the better is it for him. The more you weep and cower under the table in fear, the happier he becomes.

Goliath, the Philistine, harassed and intimidated Israel for many days. And Saul and all Israel went into hiding. They could not confront Goliath. They ran into the trench. Goliath was so bold to look at Gods people who had protection. Why are you all running? He said, just have one person amongst you. I dont need every person. So you see, Goliath became like a demonic spirit that was released against Gods people. And for forty days he harassed and intimidated the people of God and no one could stop him until David appeared. Beloved, your situation will change and your circumstance will pass away. What was the difference between David and Saul? It was not in the weapons, for Saul had better weapons and was well armed; but David had a better understanding of covenant. Beloved, you are under a covenant better than the one David boasted of. You are under the covenant that was ratified by the blood of Jesus.

As you read this devotional today, I want to announce to you that every Goliath that has risen up against you will fall. Goliath of sickness, poverty, want, unemployment, disappointment and failure will fall. Fear not. Do not be intimidated. Whatever represents Goliath in your life will fall. Whatever has been tormenting, harassing and pressurising you over the years has been destroyed. Every negative word spoken over your life is nullified. You have the victory! This is your moment of victory so rise up and rejoice in the Lord. I see you celebrate in Jesus name.
