Rise Up And Fight (1)

And the philistines said, I defy the armies of Israel this day, give us a man, that a man that we may fight together. 1 Samuel17:10 KJV.

In those days the way battles were fought was that every group brought out its own champion. And so Goliath came out every day and shook his fist before Gods people and no one could confront him. Everyone went into hiding. What an indictment, that you will be saved, sanctified and filled with the power of God and not able to fight your battles. That the adversary will throw challenges at you and you will have no answer. How dare you claim to be a child of God if you cannot boldly represent the Most High God? Have you not heard that our God is a man of war? Proverbs 28:1 says The wicked flee when no man pursueth: but the righteous are bold as a lion.

Child of God you are not called to be passive, you are called to be active in the kingdom. You have been called to fight. Ephesians 6:12 says For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Beloved this fight continues until Jesus comes. That is why you were admonished to be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might (Ephesians 6:10) and to put on the whole armour of God. Let your loins be gird with truth. Put on the breastplate of righteousness and your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace. Take up the shield of faith so that you can quench the fiery dart of that enemy brings against you. Above all, put on the helmet of salvation and take up the sword of the spirit, which is the word of God (Ephesians 6:13-17).

Rise up and fight. But make sure you dont fight naked, fight with your amour well in place and refuse to give any opening to the adversary. And as you wear the armour of God, know the power behind the armour you put on. Understand that with your amour on, the whole forces of heaven are backing you up and you can never lose. As you fight in this knowing, I assure you that failure will not come near you and defeat will never be your portion. You will overcome in all battles of life and you will succeed in all your lifes endeavours. I bless you in the name of the Lord.
