SEE YOURSELF IN THE WORD

See Your Self In The Word

For with thee is the fountain of life: in thy light shall we see light. Psalm 36:19 KJV

Every time you read the word of God, you will see your picture, your true picture. You will see light. Dont ever allow the enemy to paint a wrong picture of you. Dont allow society to paint a negative picture of you. Dont accept the lie of the devil about yourself. Dont believe the lie of the devil that you are weak. When you read the bible you will see that you have strength. Consider these scriptures. Eph 6:10 says Be strong in the Lord and in the power of his might. Dont believe the lie of the devil that you are a sinner and unworthy, you are cleansed through the word of God. Psalm 119:9 says Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to thy word. No wonder Jesus said sanctify them through thy truth, thy word is truth (John 17:17KJV). The word of God set you apart. It separates you from the world. Yes, there will be evil but believers are separated through the word. Evil will be all around but will not touch you; you will be different.

You must stay in the word. Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17) Dont stay one week without listening to a tape. When you take notes in church, go back to read it. Find out what God is saying. The fact that you stayed under a teaching for 45 minutes does not mean you have got everything. Our Lord Jesus Christ said, The children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light. (Luke 16:8) Why was he lamenting thus? He said this because the children of the world are getting bolder, in spite of the evil they are involved in. Yet, the children of the kingdom that have been given the weapon to pull down the stronghold of the enemy only bring it to church on Sundays. Dont be in the company of those who keep their bible in the bookshelf. Stay in the word and discover who you are in Christ.

The bible admonishes us Dont behave like the world but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind (Romans 12:2). Allow the word to transform you so that you can go from strength to strength in your Christians experience. I declare that you will not be weak, you will not be defeated, you will overcome by the strength of God.
