Trust Him

Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. Proverbs 3:5 (AMP)

Today, I want to challenge you to get your mind completely off the way. With the mental ability you imagine and rationalise things, but today, I challenge you to move from the realm of analysis to that of trust. I am sure throughout this period the Lord has spoken certain things which rationally does not seem to make sense. I know you have looked at all the conditions around you and concluded that those things the Lord has spoken to you are at best fairy tales. But I come to encourage you to move from faith to trust. Trust Him to do just what He says He will do.

Let us look at Mary; when the Angel appeared to her, what he said did not make sense. Nothing like that has ever happened before. This young lady was only engaged, she was not married so she was not even believing God for a child, yet the angel said to her, you will conceive by the Holy Ghost. Think of it. Even Zacharias who was married doubted the possibility of having children when he considered how long they have been married and prayed about it; now he believed they were too old to have a child. Can you imagine it? Yes, Mary, rather than argue said Be it unto me, according to your word. In other words, I cant explain it, I cant even have the faith for it, but I trust in your ability to do whatever you want to do. Today, we see that it came to pass. Jesus was born and thank God He came, that is why you and I are saved; because He paid the price.

What has the Lord spoken to you? How impossible does it sound? If you can think it, then it is not a big deal. But when you look all around and consider it impossible, then trust Him. Or have you stood in faith for so long and it seems to tarry? The same thing, trust Him. Abraham believed God for 25 years but one day it came to pass. I pray for you that the promise will not tarry. It will come to pass speedily. But while you wait, simply trust Him.
