Stand On Gods Word
Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord. 1 Corinthians 15:58
In the book of Acts chapter twenty three, Paul was being harassed for preaching the gospel and they were doing all manner of evil against him, But listen to what God said to him, the following night the Lord stood by him and said be of good cheer for as you have testified of me in Jerusalem, so shall you testify of me in Rome (verse 11). Now with that understanding the word of God assured Paul that he was going to get to Rome, the word of God had gone ahead. Paul you have testified of me in Jerusalem and because of that they are persecuting you, they want to throw you into jail, they want you dead, the religious rulers are after your life, but Paul be of good cheer. In other words be rest assured, go to bed, sleep because as you have testified in Jerusalem you will testify in Rome.
Who was speaking? Jehovah God was speaking, the owner of the world has spoken and that is what faith is all about. God always speaks the end from the beginning, He gives you an inside information; and to walk in faith is to follow what He said and not what happened in between. If you are not focused on the word of God, the wind of adversity will drown you.
In Matthew 14, Jesus told the disciples to cross to the other side and as they were going, there was a great storm that shook their boat and the disciples were bailing water and the more they bailed the more the storm came. And the Bible said and Jesus began to walk on top of that storm and as He was approaching, disciples cried, it is a spirit, because they have never seen Him in that form before. They didnt recognize Him because they didnt remember that God has said that His name is I AM THAT I AM, in other words, I can be anything you want me to be to you. They only knew Him in the physical form and they didnt know that God can manifest Himself in different forms and they were afraid and Jesus said be of good cheer, it is I and Peter said, If it is you bid me come and the Jesus said, Come. The word has gone out and when He said come, Peter jumped out of the boat and started going and that is faith. He walked on the water because he focused on the word come. As you maintain your focus on the word, I declare today that every promise of God will be made manifest in your life.
