“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let your heart not be troubled, neither let it be afraid.’’

John 14:27 (KJV)

It is no longer news that evil is increasing daily. But I come to assure you that whatever evil may be lurking around, it is minus you. Psalm 91:7 says “A thousand shall fall at thy side, and ten thousand at thy right hand; but it shall not come nigh thee.” It doesn’t matter what you hear or see, beloved it will not come near your dwelling place. As a Believer, you must constantly reassure yourself that things will turn out well for you even when it is hopeless everywhere else. It is part of your inheritance as a believer. You must catch that revelation so that at every time irrespective of what is happening around, you are not troubled. Let the tempest rage, let the billows toss, child of God; evil shall not come near you. The wicked shall continually bow at your gate. Head or tail you win.

One truth Jesus constantly taught His disciples throughout His ministry here on earth was that they should not fear. Jesus had to continually remind them of the need not to fear because He knew that pressures and troubles were bound to come. He said in john 16:33 “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”He knew that if fear found its way into their hearts, then there was no way they would fulfill purpose.

In like manner, I come to encourage you today to always keep your heart prepared in-spite of the rumblings around you so that you might partake of what God has in stock for His people. You must be very careful about how you react to pressures that may come your way, because they are bound to come. Beloved, the days are evil but let your heart be at peace. Jesus said my peace I give unto you. This peace is shalom meaning nothing broken nothing missing. Today I release the peace of God upon you. In whatever situation you may find yourself, His peace will keep your heart and mind in Jesus name.
