Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory 1 Corinthians 2:8

The death of Christ was a total mystery to the powers of darkness and even the people walking with Jesus did not understand. In the garden of Gethsemane, Peter said No Lord, you won’t die! He resisted the divine purpose because he never understood this mystery of the death of Jesus. No one understood but thank God for Gethsemane experience where Jesus surrendered His will. Jesus said Not my will but thy will be done .

The body of Jesus was emanating blood-like sweat while He was praying because of the pain of separation between Him and His Father. For the first time, Jesus was forced to call His Father, God and not Father. Yes, He is Father to us (believers) but God to the world because they know Him not. Jesus was in pain because of separation from the Father which was as a result of the sins of the world that was laid upon Him.

At the fall of the first Adam, the damage was done. Man fell from grace to grass and thereby brought to humanity sickness, disease, poverty, frustration etc. The fall gave to man what man was not wired to carry. Your body is not wired to carry sickness, diseases, pains, poverty, frustration, depression etc. It was never the intention of God. You were wired for excellence but the moment man sinned, what He was not wired for came upon him. But God’s agenda never changed. So it required a price to be paid. So that man can revert back to what he was originally wired for. That is why Jesus came. I see you taking back your place. Restoration is coming your way. My prayer for you is that you will enjoy the full benefit of the redemption that all that Jesus died for will not be in vain in your life.
