DONT BE ASHAMED

DON’T BE ASHAMED

And they came to Jericho and as he went out of Jericho with his disciples and a great number of people, blind Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus sat by the highway side begging. Mark 10:46 KJV.

This man was not sitting at the corner. He didn’t look for an obscure road. He was positioned. He wasn’t in a hidden place. He was on the highway where everybody could see him. If you are not ashamed of nothing, you will get something out of nothing. Some of us are in our condition today because we are ashamed. Shame is causing things to work against us. Beloved, it bears repetition, if you are not ashamed of nothing, you will get something out of nothing. Blind Bartimaeus was not ashamed of nothing. They were calling him blind already and he said Let everyone see it. His not being ashamed positioned him where he could hear that the man of Galilee was passing through. And he decided that: This day my reproach will end. Your reproach ends today. Whatever the enemy has used to cause you shame, humiliation and embarrassment is removed today.

What brought restoration to the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-24 was the fact that he was not ashamed to return to his father after he had messed up terribly. He said: I will arise and go to my father (Luke 15:18KJV). Before now, he was in the wrong place and the prince ended up eating with pigs. But he was still a son. Thank God he was not ashamed to walk away from a wrong place but decided to reposition himself. Many are stuck today and have remained in the wrong position because of shame.

Beloved, regardless of what you have done or the things that happened to you, your status has not changed. You are a child of God and He loves you so much that there is nothing He cannot do for you. Run back to God, He is waiting to receive you. If you are not ashamed of nothing you will get something out of nothing.
