God and God Alone
Categories: From the Bishop
Dearly beloved, I bring you greetings in the name that is above every other name, Jesus Christ the Son of the Living God and our soon coming King. Indeed, it gives me great pleasure to welcome every living TREMite from all over the world to the 25th edition of the Kingdom Life World Conference with the theme: God and God Alone. This years’ conference is loaded and it promises to be a time of refreshing in His presence. As the conference kicks off this afternoon, I encourage you to position yourself to receive every word meant for you from the throne room of grace. Without a shadow of doubt, I know that your life will not remain the same after this conference.
Beloved, the theme for this year’s conference – God and God Alone is so vitally important because as we daily watch events unfold on the global scene, it is becoming clearer that the nations of the world do not have answers for the complex problems that stare us in the face. Just tune your television set to any of the international news channels and all you hear is the news of disaster. Whether it is news about the unrest in the Middle East or natural disasters from other parts of the world, the story is the same. What can we say about the events unfolding daily in our own nation? As at today, we are yet to find a lasting solution to the issues of insecurity, poverty, bombings and killings. Beloved, it is therefore obvious that the solutions that we seek are only available in God. It has to be God and God alone.
In-spite of these seemingly contradictory circumstances, we have a sure word that our God is still in absolute control. He has not abdicated His throne and it is not in His nature to abandon His own. Like I have always said and it bears repetition, when men are saying there is a casting down, you would continually say there is a lifting up. You are bold to say there is a lifting up because you know that it is not about you, but all about Him. You know that your God still has the ability to turn contrary situations around, no matter how complex they are. God proved to Pharaoh and all of Egypt that He alone could bring out His people from the land of bondage and bring to an end, a life of pain and slavery. Even though the people were in Egypt for about 400 years, God brought them out in one day. That same God is still alive and well and He is willing and able to do you good during this conference.
Beloved, this year’s conference is with a difference. Every speaker for this year’s conference has a sure word from God, so I implore you to be attentive throughout. Every session has been designed with you in mind. Don’t pick and choose which session to attend but rather take a quality decision to be a part of it all. You can never lose when you sit at the feet of Jesus to receive the word of life. Let me remind you that another major highlight of this year’s conference is the Big League Summit. I am a firm believer that TREMites would play in the big league, and that is why we are putting the machinery in place to ensure that you are well positioned. If we serve a God who is an epitome of creativity, then we cannot afford to just fold our hands and watch others lead the way. The time to use our God advantage is now, and so we must begin to strategize on how to proffer solutions to our world. Like I always say and it bears repetition, many will kiss the lips of he who has the right answer. Beloved, it does not matter if they like your face or not, the truth is many will surely kiss your lips if you have the right answer.
As this conference commences later today, settle it in your heart that you are not leaving the way you came. I stand in faith with you that you will arrive at God’s ordained destiny for your life. Nothing will cut short your destiny. God will do for you that which He only can do. Beloved, you will not see shame. You will not be denied. This is the time and season for your lifting. I will hear your testimony. I bless you.
In His Royal Service
