It’s Your Choice
November 21 Friday
” I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:”
Deuteronomy 30:19 (KJV) Someone has said that the difference between Success and Failure is perspective. Everything in life is about choices. Have you discovered that the very thing someone is saying cannot be done, right before your very eyes, someone else is doing it big time.
Isn’t it rather an embarrassment that in the world today, particularly in the developing nations, the citizens are crying that things are very tough, yet foreigners are all over the place, making so much money and smiling to the banks? Do you realise that in the same economy that some people are losing their homes, some others are making their first millions?
I made up my mind several years ago that I can never be poor. That’s my choice. I found out from scriptures that I can never be a failure. God said in Deut 30:19″ I have set before you life and death, blessing and curses, choose life… in other words, its your choice.
Child of God, there’s no material of failure inside you. God has given you everything to succeed in life. You really have no excuse. I plead with you today, don’t live a life of excuses. Don’t fold your hands and sing qui sera sera, whatever will be will be”. No get off that bed and decide to take the right decision. Make a choice to succeed and watch God take you to unprecedented heights. You say brother Mike, you don’t understand; I have a terrible background. That’s not an excuse. Look around you, there are millions of people today who had a terrible background, yet they are making it big time. Some of the billionaires we read about today were school drop outs. Some did not have anyone to pay their school fees so they went for part-time education, yet today the story is different. It is not about how you start; it is about how you end. How you end is a function of your choices. Take the right decision today and become a reference point for good.
