It’s a New Dawn
December 9, Tuesday
“This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 (KJV)
How do you see a new day? Many people wake up with the frustrations of yesterday. Some wake up with the failures of past months. But the Psalmist said “This is the day the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it”. In other words, everyday is a gift from God; an opportunity to succeed. No wonder it is called “present”. What is a present – it is a gift and once given you are at liberty to do with it whatever you so desire. If you cherish it, then it blossoms in your hands, but if you are careless with it, you will either spoil it within a short time or you loose it.
I know there are challenges all over the place. The enemy is on rampage everywhere. Jobs are nowhere to be found. Businesses are collapsing. But I challenge you to see today as another opportunity to succeed. I dare you to see today as a blank cheque before you.
When you see today as a brand new day, then like the Psalmist, you will wake up into the day with excitement looking forward to great things. It has been rightly said that expectation is the mother of miracles and like I always say, the miracle you desire will not fall on you like a bag of cherries. You cannot wear a long face and look like someone who just drank lemon juice and attract the goodness of God to yourself. No, you must face the day with courage. Put behind you the failures of yesterday and see today as a gift and remember the gift of God makes rich and adds no sorrow. So if you take today as a gift, then be ready for the giver of life to do for you what you cannot do for yourself.
Beloved, this is the day the Lord has made. With God on your side therefore you have no choice but to succeed today. I prophesy over your life that today is a day of opportunity. It’s your day of expansion. It’s your day of uncommon visitation. It’s your day of fruitfulness. God will fight your battles. God will connect you to Greatness. Mercy and Grace will speak for you in high places. I bless you today in Jesus Name.
