What is the measure of your love?

December 11, Thursday

“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”John 3:16 (KJV)

Do you love God more than things or have things become your god? When last did share your things with those who need them? When last did you visit your wardrobe, not to select clothes to wear but to select clothes to give out to other people?

I know how long it takes for a woman to make a good hair and look good. I don’t have a problem with that because I like it when I see you looking good. But my question is “how much time do you give to God”? I am not talking about Sundays only but everyday.

I see people who spend thousands of money in an eatery or supermarket but when they come to Church they give God peanuts. Look at you, do you think God is a beggar? The truth is that with or without you, God can still provide for His work. It is rather a privilege to be part of Kingdom sponsors

One of the ways to prove your love for someone is by your giving {Jn3:16}. When you love your spouse, you give him or her money, your time, your resources. In the same way, you have to show God how much you love Him. Don’t only profess your love to God; its time to show God how much you love Him by giving generously. Don’t wait for tomorrow, you can begin today.
