Let God take you out

December 12, Friday

” And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.”

Mark 8:23 (KJV) God has a way of taking people out of their familiar terrain when He wants to do something new in their lives. I am so convinced that God is not through with you yet. He wants to take you to another height. He can only do so if you allow Him to take you out.

He said to Abraham, Come out of your country, from your kindred, from your father’s house, to a land I will show you {Gen 12:1}. God usually takes you from the known to the unknown. He takes you from people who used to know you, those who will be a hindrance to your progress, and takes you were you are positioned to be blessed. People who know how you borrowed money and could not pay back. People who know how you committed abortion and so not qualified to be married to that fine brother in Church. People who know how you failed yesterday and so cannot succeed today. You need to come out from among them and be separate (2 Cor 6:17)

This is where I like the awesomeness of God. He does not consult other people to bring you out. He doesn’t appeal to your past in other to save you. In Mark 8:23, the Bible said that Jesus took the blind man out of the city to heal Him.

God wants to take you to another level. Allow him to take you out of your familiar terrain. Do so today.
