Strength out of weakness December 29 Monday

“And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.” 2 Corinthians 12:9 (KJV)

As we bid 2014 goodbye and look forward to 2015, I feel compelled to challenge you to get out of the complacent zone. You have no excuse to fail. If you think your challenge is your house, think of the multiplied thousands around the world without homes. If you think your challenge is flood, some other nations are crying out of draught. No matter how bad the situation is, if you look closely, you will see someone, not too far from you, with a worse story to tell. Yet, I hear God say, there is good in the land. There is strength in the challenge, the solution you are looking for is not far-fetched.

Never give up because of your social, educational, family or economic background. Your situation can turn around. As the year draws it’s curtains, make a conscious effort to review the year. Don’t think God is a magician, He will just wave the magic wand and everything will change. No. At times, He leaves you in that situation so that you may turn the well of Baca into a spring.

There is so much good in the land. There is abundance and prosperity, but God expects you to take advantage of the situation and turn it around to His glory. If you look closely the same reason some people give for failure is exactly the same reason some give for success. Decide today that the coming year will answer to your prosperity. Determine that the coming year will be better than the past. Take a stand today and draw out strength from weakness.
