“When the Lord turned the captivity of Zion, we were like them that dream.” Psalm 126:1 (KJV)

Today I have come to encourage you not to give up because God is ready to bless you afresh. I know you may have experienced disappointment in the past. You have probably held on to a particular promise and believed in God for its manifestation, but nothing has come of it so far and the devil has had a field day laughing at you to push you into scorn. Don’t give up because God will fulfil His promise again.

You might be wondering why the word “again” was used when you cannot recall one thing that God has done in the past for you. You’re probably thinking this way because the current challenge is overwhelming and you’re reluctant to let it go. Stop and think again: has God not blessed you before? Have you ever been sick? Perhaps the same sickness that has killed others did not kill you? Beloved, it was not the doctor who was talented or the drug that was potent, it was the Lord who intervened and healed you. Have you not seen people with milder conditions and more money die like chickens in the hands of the devil? While you are still thinking about that, do you realize that the very fact that you are alive today is a testimony? Many who are better than you went to bed yesterday and today are no more, yet God in His mercies has kept you alive.

If God, in spite of all the devil’s activities, has kept you alive, it is because He is not through with you. His plans for your life will surely come to pass. Even if they appear to be delayed, know that delay is not denial. Don’t give up. Don’t give in because God will again manifest in your life. I will hear your testimony because this is your year of celebration.
