PARTAKERS OF THE GLORY

PARTAKERS OF THE GLORY Wednesday, 7 January 2015

“The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts.” Haggai 2:9 (KJV)

There is a glory that is coming to the Church and we are called to be partakers. The ancient Prophet Haggai saw it from afar and declared that the glory of this latter house shall be greater than the former. He was literally talking about a people who would emerge in the future. We are that church even though we are not there yet. I believe that God will do awesome things in this generation.

If we are seeing anything contrary to this ideal today, the fault is not from God but from us as believers. If we must truly partake of the glory of the latter house, then we have a responsibility to examine ourselves in the light of the scriptures in order to identify where we need to make adjustments. Part of the change we need to make includes understanding that when the glory falls, it does not only bless but also kills. Therefore you must take responsibility for your own life. Check the Bible and you will see that God can kill, and when He does, death does not stop the revival. There is a glory that is coming and you cannot afford to miss out on it. This coming glory will not allow any defilement. The coming glory will not accept any form of filth. The coming glory will not permit any form of hypocrisy or the playing of games. I therefore plead with you to clean up your acts. Stop frustrating the grace of God. Stop all the hypocrisy and double standards so that you can truly represent God here on earth.

Remember, He did not call you to see shame or embarrassment. He who called you will perfect all that concerns you. Something new, fresh, and unusual is about to break forth in your life. You will shock your detractors.
