“Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the Lord had visited his people in giving them bread.”Ruth 1:6 (KJV)

The Bible tells us in the book of Ruth that in the same place where there was famine Naomi heard that God had visited His people. God does not abandon His own, irrespective of what the devil does. He doesn’t sit down, fold His hands, and watch the devil take action. The last time I read about God, He was still laughing at what the devil is doing.

I have already said it but it bears repetition that God is not in contention with the devil. He is not nervous or under pressure over what the enemy is doing against His children because He has made adequate provision for our total victory.

You may be experiencing famine but I want to assure you that there is no accident with God. The worship of God is not unpredictable and I can assure you that when you do it wholeheartedly, you will access heaven. What doctors cannot do in your life will be done by God. You will be completely healed and delivered. You may be carrying a heavy load right now but I bring assurance that as you lose yourself, enter the presence of the Lord, and forget about the load you are carrying, the power of God will be available to bring an end to every satanic manipulation in your life. You are stepping into your abundance; you are stepping into your breakthrough. The prayers you have made will be answered.

One thing we must learn from Naomi is that she did not allow shame to keep her away. Many people have left their place of praise. They know it, but they are too ashamed to return. Learn from Naomi. She left full and then became empty; she went away with her husband and two sons. And rather than returning with grandchildren to add to her family, she lost everyone except one daughter-in-law. Yet she swallowed her pride and returned. Child of God, if you have left your place of praise, I encourage you to go back. Swallow your pride and return and like Naomi. God will visit you in a way and manner such that you will forget the years of sorrow in Jesus’s name.
