“And he said unto them, Look on me, and do likewise: and, behold, when I come to the outside of the camp, it shall be that, as I do, so shall ye do.” Judges 7:17 (KJV)

When you are ready to move into another dimension, not every person will go. At times, some people have to leave you because they are not going to enter the new dimension you are going to. Gideon mustered 32,000 soldiers who were fully armed to battle against the Midianites but the Lord said they were too many. He began to prune their numbers. When a call was made for the fearful to go back, 22,000 soldiers went back home.

Gideon had 32,000 soldiers whose number were not enough to fight the multitude, yet 22,000 soldiers ended up turning back out of fear. As if that was not enough, God then looked and asked Gideon: “How many do you have?” Gideon told Him he had 10,000 soldiers, and again, God said they were still too many.

God was teaching us a vital lesson. In spiritual warfare, you do not need a great number of people. If you have two people who can agree, they are better than having thousands of people who are doing whatever they want. In such an atmosphere, there is the possibility of the thousands shooting themselves because they are not in harmony. They are not organized. They are not in obedience and they are not following instructions. They are doing whatever they want.

At the end of the final test, only 300 soldiers were left standing. And with these 300 men, God delivered the Midianites into the hands of Gideon. Altogether, 31,700 soldiers were not ready for the next level and they were sent back. How ready are you for the next level? If you want to go to the next dimension, you must cultivate the same attitude as the 300 soldiers. They were not doing whatever they wanted. They were completely yoked with Gideon and his vision.

Child of God, you cannot be doing whatever you like and expect to go to the next dimension. You must yoke yourself with your spiritual leader and submit to instructions. The 300 soldiers did exactly as they were instructed and a band of 300 men triumphed over multitudes. What a miracle!
