“Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.” Colossians 3:16 (KJV)
It is important that you let the peace of God reign in your heart. This is because healing occurs from within to the outside. If you are defeated inside, you have already been completely defeated and the manifestation of your defeat on the outside is only a matter of time. It is not the storm that rages around a ship that sinks it. It is the water that goes into it that sinks it. So beloved, to stay victorious you must not allow a flood on the inside. Yes, there may be a great flood around you, but inside you must be free of the flood. One sign that you are winning is that the peace of God is present; this will calm you inside. Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus” (KJV).
If you allow the flood inside you, you will sink. Therefore, be filled with the word of God so that there is no space for the flood. Paul, while speaking to the people of God in Colossians 3:16, said: “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom” (KJV). It has to exist richly and not mildly. It has to be done in full and not in half measure so that whichever way the tide comes, you will stay afloat.
Beloved, nothing happens to you by accident as a child of God. Nothing! The moment you are translated into the kingdom of His dear son, you become a special, supernatural, and new being that has never existed before. You have no past at all. You are totally new-brand new and special!
The Bible says that you are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that you should walk in (Ephesians 2:10). Therefore, you need to understand that nothing happens to you by accident. Psalm 37:23 further reinforces this truth when it says: “The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord: and he delighteth in his way” (KJV). Child of God, even your casual meeting with someone is part of His divine arrangement to set in motion or orchestrate His blessing in your life.
I declare to you today that life is not happening to you by accident; you are heading somewhere good by God’s divine ordination and you are getting there in Jesus name. Whether the enemy likes it or not, you will testify. I bless you today in the name of the Lord.
