“For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator liveth.” Hebrews 9:16-17 (KJV)

The devil has no legal authority to enforce his will on your life. You must therefore stand boldly and reject anything he is offering you. Don’t you dare accept his text messages, emails, tweets, or Facebook messages. No matter how subtly the devil tries to pass his messages across, resist them firmly with the word of God. Delete all his messages to you because they don’t belong to you.

All truths are parallel. Think about it. In the natural world, when a mailman comes with a letter not addressed to you, what do you do? Do you accept it and keep it? Of course not. You simply reject it. The same thing applies in the spiritual realm; when the devil brings anything that does not belong to you, don’t think twice: reject it. You ought to learn to return any satanic offer.

Our text this morning says that for a will to be in force there must first be the death of the writer of the will. A will has no strength as long as the writer lives. Satan’s will for you cannot be in force because he is not dead. He is very much alive. On the contrary, the will of Jesus Christ is in force for you because He came and died so that His will could come into operation. Then He rose up again to enforce the will on your behalf. This is not a fairy tale; yesterday we celebrated His death and if you go to Israel, the evidence is there to show that someone truly died. Thank God He not only died to activate the will on our behalf, tomorrow we will celebrate His resurrection. Archaeologists in Israel have done a very good job preserving His empty tomb. Beloved, Jesus rose again and He is not in the tomb; the tomb is empty. He rose again to supervise the enforcement of the will. Can you beat that?

He wills prosperity, health, power, breakthrough, success, and everything good for you. His will is to give you abundant life and nothing less; so don’t settle for less. Go for the ultimate and let that be your desire because Jesus has paid the full price.
