“For ever, O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven.” Psalm 119:89 (KJV)

God never starts anything without His word. Whenever God wants to do anything on the earth, He sends His word ahead of Him and that settles it. Our text in the translation of the message says, “What you say goes, God, and stays, as permanent as the heavens.” In other words, whatever God says concerning you is permanent. Beloved, fix your mind at all times on the word He has given you for the year. Bury your head in it and expect the best.

One important decision you must make is to sit at the feet of the Master always. As we climax the age, evil will increase so you cannot afford to forsake His presence. The devil, like a roaring lion, is still in the business of looking for those whom he may devour, so don’t toy with your Christian experience. Choose to embrace commitment above convenience. Don’t pick and choose which services you will attend, or play church. When you skip services for a flimsy reason you will not be fully equipped to function like you are supposed to. The amount of understanding of the word you have determines the amount of revelation with which you can function. When you refuse to feed on the word, you will definitely function like a servant even though you are a son. Take advantage of your position in Christ, and you will always come out victorious. When next the enemy comes around, remind him that you are a joint heir with Christ and let him know that the Greater One lives in you. Then the devil will flee from you. Beloved, whatever cannot touch Christ cannot touch you.

You also need to understand that you are already blessed because God says so. You have been blessed with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ. If God says you are blessed, then it follows that everything that concerns you is also blessed. What you are going through in your marriage right now doesn’t matter; if God says it is a blessed union then that settles it. You must therefore learn to agree with God. Everything that concerns you is blessed. In like manner, settle it in your heart that your finances, healing, promotion, and family are blessed. I am standing in faith with you that this year God will spring surprises in your life. You will eat the good of the land and your barns shall burst forth with plenty.
