“But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light;” 1 Peter 2:9 (KJV)

As a result of the fall of man in the Garden of Eden, many believers still see themselves as ordinary in spite of the enormous deposits of God in their lives. Many have been reduced to a second-class life because of contrary situations and circumstances. I have come your way today to declare that you are not ordinary.

Child of God, never get to the point in your life when you look at yourself from the perspective of your circumstances. Circumstances don’t last forever. They are a phase in life. Never judge yourself or put yourself down because of an event in your life. Understand that as a result of the fall, the outward man will always tell you that you are not good enough. The enemy even lies to you that you can never amount to anything in life. There is nothing further from the truth. Don’t ever believe it.

Beloved, understand that you are different. You were made in the image and likeness of God. You are a spirit. You are a brand new creature. One who has never existed before. You need to see yourself in your inner man and not in the flesh. You must see yourself as God sees you. A winner! A victor and not a victim. An overcomer and not a failure. Understand that you are the healed that the devil wants to make sick. You are the head and not the tail. That’s who you are! Stop seeing your human weaknesses and frailties, but rather see yourself attaining to great heights through Christ.

Remember that when you refuse to see yourself as God sees you, you are failing to appropriate what God has done for you in Christ. Whenever you see yourself as flesh, you are limited and you miss the point. God does not see you as you are. He does not see you as a sinner or failure. No! He sees you in Christ, because you have been “En-Christed”. When you made Jesus your Lord and Master, you became one with Him in the Spirit.
