SEE THE INVISIBLE

“And Elisha saw it and he cried my father, my father, the chariot of Israel, and the horsemen thereof. And he saw him no more: and he took hold of his own clothes, and rent them in two pieces.” 1 Kings 9:12 (KJV)
Beloved, from this account, it is obvious that when the heavens opened unto Elisha, certain things changed for him. He saw what no other person had the opportunity of seeing. He saw the heavens open. He saw Elijah being taken into heaven. He saw the invisible. He saw horses of fire and chariots of fire. Child of God, it is my prayer that your eyes of faith will be opened to see the great things that God has packaged for you. Oftentimes we are limited by the things we can see physically; things we can feel, touch, and smell. That is why we have limited visions.
The next thing that the ancient Prophet Elisha did was to announce what he saw. We are told that he cried. In other words, he affirmed that he could see his master Elijah being taken away. You will remember that the double portion he asked for could only be his, if he saw Elijah being taken away. From our text the scripture says, “And Elisha saw it and he cried, my father, my father, the chariot of Israel and the horsemen thereof.” Child of God, it is not enough to see in the realm of the spirit, you must also back up what you see with your mouth. Romans 10:10 says with the heart man believes, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. You must confess what you have seen. You must confess your healing, your breakthrough, your new job, your wedding. Keep confessing it until you see it come to manifestation.
Finally, from that story, what happened next was that the mantle of Elijah dropped. The ancient prophet of God was already on his way to heaven, but I perceive that he had no choice than to drop his mantle when he heard the cry of Elisha. When the heavens open, expect blessings to come down for you. Little wonder, John 3:27 says “No one can receive anything unless it be given to him from above. Beloved, I declare over your life that this season, God will cause good things to drop for you. He will satisfy your mouth with good things and show you a token for good.
