THE ‘I CAN’ SPIRIT (1)

“I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13
You know one of the things I have observed as we begin to move towards the end of the age is that if care is not taken you will become battle weary to the extent that even the very thing that God promised to you, you will give up on it. We live in a world of limitless possibility backed by God’s unfailing promises. However they will not fall upon you like a bag of cheery. You have to approach every challenge with a ‘possibility mindset’ and seek out the opportunity in the challenge.
Child of God, understand this; every problem presents an opportunity. The Chinese do not see a problem in a problem. When a Chinese looks at a problem what he sees is opportunity. So basically there is nothing like ‘problem’ in their dictionary. Every challenge is an opportunity for the typical Chinese man. That is why they experience breakthrough in different areas of life.
When you look around you, you will see that the activities of the devil are on the increase. It might appear as if the devil is calling the shots and the people of God are losing the battle. That is what it looks like not just in Nigeria, but basically all over the world; so if you are not careful you begin to give credit to the devil. But the truth is that God has put inside every person, especially believers, the ‘I can’ spirit. Beloved, you can do all things. There is the ‘I can’ spirit inside all of us. If you allow it to remain dormant you will confine yourself to the archives of irrelevance. But child of God, that is not the plan of God for your life. God has made you the head and not the tail. You are the city that is set upon the hill and you cannot be hidden. You cannot be irrelevant.
The devil will always present impossibilities, situations that that will make you ask, “How is it going to work?” Even when an idea drops in your heart, he might jump on your shoulder asking “how is it going to work?” God may put in your heart the idea of building a church, the idea of erecting a building, and the devil asks you “where are you going to get the money?” And before you realize it, your faith fails and you drop the idea. God may put in your spirit ideas of how you are going to grow your membership, and the devil asks how is it going to work? That has always been his style. You will be shocked how many ideas have been thrown out of the window because the devil spoke.
I declare to you today that the plan of God for your life will not be aborted. Your dreams will come to pass, you will not be stopped and you will fulfill destiny in Jesus name.
