“For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.” 1 John 2:16-17 (KJV)

Our God, the mighty man in battle, a man of war dealt with all the gods of Egypt. Every plague He brought upon Egypt was to prove to them that beside Him there is no other God. All others who call themselves god are no gods, they are mere works of men. And where gods are standing and our God stands every other god bows to Him because He is the almighty. Fear not! Your God is still alive. They may have denied you, society may have played some games trying to withstand what God intends for you, the policies of this nation may have been working contrary to God’s design for your life but your life is about to break forth into new terrains. It would break forth and the enemy cannot stop it.

God silenced all the gods of Egypt and brought out the children of Israel supernaturally and they found themselves on their way to the promised land. The scripture was careful to tell us that God had other routes He could have taken them but He took them through a particular route where He knew that the enemy would trap them.

What do you do when you are in the will of God and you are trapped? I mean when you are in God’s will and you are not disobedient. We can understand when somebody is walking against the will of God and he is trapped but what do you do when you are in the will of God and you are trapped? They had the option of returning back to Egypt; in fact some of them told Moses that it would have been better for them to have stayed back as slaves in Egypt. Do you know what God said to Moses when the people cried out? He said; Go Forward.

You know that sometimes when people are overwhelmed they begin to speak anyhow. These were the people who have been crying for many years and there was no answer. Now that they are coming out and were at a crossroad they said it was better back in Egypt. I don’t know about you but there is nothing the world has to offer me. I have been in the world and now I am in Christ, I know the difference. Most of the people you are pointing at as enjoying, when you go close to them, you would notice that they are dead meats.

You will not serve the devil no matter the intimidation. If anyone is to bow it is the devil that must bow to you.
