YOU WILL TAKE YOUR CITY Tuesday, 9 June 2015
“. . . And the people shouted with a great shout, that the wall fell down flat, so that the people went up into the city, every man straight before him, and they took the city.” Joshua 6:20 (KJV)
As we dream and march towards our vision for the year, there will be great opposition but fear not. There will be doors that will try to stop you from attaining but don’t be afraid. You will take your cities.
The children of Israel were shut out from entering Jericho and God told them, “you don’t have to fight in this battle” just march round the city while they watch you and on the seventh day, shout and blow the trumpet”. On the seventh day, just as God had instructed, the thick walls of Jericho came crashing down. It was so high and thick that bible historians told us that two or three cars can drive on the wall of Jericho. God didn’t need a bull-dozer or caterpillars. All He needed was the spoken word and their obedience, the walls came crashing down.
Simply obey His word and so will every wall that the enemy has built around your job, business, health, marriage, academics and career come crashing in Jesus name.
Do you ever wonder how you are going to survive? You have already survived. This year you will survive. You will hear some incredible things this year. The contract you have been pursuing will come calling. Things that you have forgotten will fall in place. Doors shall open of their own accord this year and you will not be denied. All that God has spoken to you will come to pass. God says “So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it” (Isaiah 55:11). Your eyes will see it, your hands will handle it and your mouth will testify of the goodness and faithfulness of God. I will hear your testimonies. I bless you today in the name of The Lord.
