CONFESS YOUR RIGHTEOUSNESS Wednesday, 12 August 2015
“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Rom 10:9-10 (NKJV)
Jesus is the very important link in our lives. He is the bridge to the very core of our connection to divinity. Jesus becomes the sum total of the whole commandment that is why God does not require for us to recall or remember our sins. God is saying “my child, don’t remember any more” For with the heart man believes unto righteousness and with your mouth, confession is made unto salvation”. So all you need to do is to confess your righteousness in Christ Jesus.
If He gave us this condition, then there is no need to begin to mention our past sins. Only believe and confess your right standing, which is why there is no excuse for any person who refuses Jesus. He made it so simple. Jesus took care of the past, present and future sin. So once we zero in on Jesus, God is obligated to answer us our petitions. It does not contradict 1 John 1:9 because 1 John 1:9 was talking to the believer who misses the mark and God does not expect you to wait. Immediately the spirit of the Lord convicts you, you should apologize and thank God for the gift of righteousness. That is why the scripture is there for the believer, so we can get right with the Lord and be in fellowship with divinity.
What made Abraham so different? Why was he so special? Why did God call him His friend? I know we all want to be called a friend of God. It should be your desire and expectation. God has summed it up in one principle. Just one, and if you get it, it will take care of sin in your life. It takes care of unrighteousness. Prosperity comes, progress and success in your academics come, also marriage, business, finances and everything that concerns you is taken care of. Jesus is the one thing! Do you have him? Do you manifest him?
