MAKE YOUR LIFE PLEASING TO GOD

MAKE YOUR LIFE PLEASING TO GOD
Friday, 14 August 2015

“But without faith it is impossible to please him; for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

The question remains: are you pleasing God in Fellowship? Can God be happy about the way and manner you fellowship with Him? Is God really pleased by your life or are you just observing religious exercise? Are you living to please yourself or living to please God? Can God be excited about the manner of your worship towards Him?

Hebrews 11:6 says “…without faith, it is impossible to please God”. The bible is letting us know here that one thing we can do to please God among many others is walking by faith. To please God is only possible in faith. Faith is the only way we as humans can please God. Hebrews 11:1 says “Now Faith is the substance of things hoped for; the evidence of things not seen”. Faith is evidence. Faith is the proof that what you cannot see exists. If you have the evidence, you have the real thing. It is just like you smell a perfume, you can tell the product without seeing the bottle. That is how faith is.

The best way to understand its working is that faith and the word of God are synonymous. Romans 10:17 says “Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. In my book Faith is now or never, I described faith as the word of God, which is the substance of things hoped for. The word of God is the evidence that the things not seen actually exist. In other words, if I have the word of God for it then I have the real thing. So if you have the word of God and you act on that word that is faith. And such acts of faith is pleasing to God. I declare that your life will please God in Jesus name. When you hear His word, believe and act on it. That in itself is faith. I challenge you to put His word to work today. Demonstrate faith and make your life pleasing to God.
