WALK YOUR FAITH
Sunday, 23 August 2015
“Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee.” Genesis 17:5
The reason for the failure, frustration and disappointment we encounter in our day to day living is that some of us have one leg in the kingdom and the other outside the kingdom. We cannot be said to be fully committed to God. You will never experience the best of God with one leg in and one leg out. God desires and demands your total commitment. You must be about the kingdom business and leave the rest in the hands of God and let Him fight your battles. Realize that with your battles in the hands of God, you can never loose or be defeated. The bible says “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.” (2 Corinthians 2:14) It also says “But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ”. (1 Corinthians 15:57)
You must always recognize that you are a child of the kingdom and God has finished all that concerns you before He ever made the promise to you. All you need do is begin to walk towards that which is already perfected in God. God changed Abraham’s name and made him a father of many nations ever before it happened. When God gives you His word, that is not when he is preparing it, it is already prepared, God expects you to begin to walk towards it. It is in walking towards it that you become it and that is what faith is. He says it to tell you what has already been done in the spirit, it is your walking towards it whether it looks like it or not, that produces what God has spoken and that is what is called faith.
Without faith it is impossible to please God, it is impossible to be all that God made you to be if you are not walking in faith. It pleases God to see His children walking towards what He has promise. If you must develop the faith that pleases God, you must: 1. Read the bible daily. Joshua 1:8 2. Change your thinking by the word. Romans 12:1-2 3. Refuse negative mindset. 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 This way, you will re-program your mind and wash off anything negative. I see you growing and glowing in the greater glory this period in Jesus name.
